I am a final year undergraduate at Nanyang Business School majoring in Business Analytics. I enjoy working with data and gaining meaningful insights from them. In a world filled with emotions, evidence-based reasoning, and logic can help us make better decisions in life.
I was an undergraduate researcher in URECA which is a university-wide undergraduate research programme. I was given the opportunity to challenge my knowledge beyond textbooks and classrooms while learning to look at issues from multiple perspectives. My research scope involved utilizing machine learning and data analytics to explore the feasibility of applying predictive maintenance on ultra-filtration units.
Beyond my research stint, I gained practical experience in data-related work through collaboration with companies such as LTA and NEWRI Ecosystem. Currently, I am also working on personal projects and online challenges to keep abreast of cutting-edge practices in data science.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and running. With the advent of massive open online courses over the past few years, I am also excited to acquire new knowledge from different disciplines. I am keen on exploring a career in any industry that utilizes data to improve business processes.
